1/23(금) 사사기 16:15~21
15 들릴라가 삼손에게 이르되 당신의 마음이 내게 있지 아니하면서 당신이 어찌 나를 사랑한다 하느냐 당신이 이로써 세 번이나 나를 희롱하고 당신의 큰 힘이 무엇으로 말미암아 생기는지를 내게 말하지 아니하였도다 하며 16 날마다 그 말로 그를 재촉하여 조르매 삼손의 마음이 번뇌하여 죽을 지경이라 17 삼손이 진심을 드러내어 그에게 이르되 내 머리 위에는 삭도를 대지 아니하였나니 이는 내가 모태에서부터 하나님의 나실인이 되었음이라 만일 내 머리가 밀리면 내 힘이 내게서 떠나고 나는 약해져서 다른 사람과 같으리라 하니라 18 들릴라가 삼손이 진심을 다 알려 주므로 사람을 보내어 블레셋 사람들의 방백들을 불러 이르되 삼손이 내게 진심을 알려 주었으니 이제 한 번만 올라오라 하니 블레셋 방백들이 손에 은을 가지고 그 여인에게로 올라오니라 19 들릴라가 삼손에게 자기 무릎을 베고 자게 하고 사람을 불러 그의 머리털 일곱 가닥을 밀고 괴롭게 하여 본즉 그의 힘이 없어졌더라 20 들릴라가 이르되 삼손이여 블레셋 사람이 당신에게 들이닥쳤느니라 하니 삼손이 잠을 깨며 이르기를 내가 전과 같이 나가서 몸을 떨치리라 하였으나 여호와께서 이미 자기를 떠나신 줄을 깨닫지 못하였더라 21 블레셋 사람들이 그를 붙잡아 그의 눈을 빼고 끌고 가사에 내려가 놋 줄로 매고 그에게 옥에서 맷돌을 돌리게 하였더라.

15 Then she said to him, "How can you say, 'I love you,' when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times, and have not told me where your great strength lies." 16 And it came to pass, when she pestered him daily with her words and pressed him, so that his soul was vexed to death, 17 that he told her all his heart, and said to her, "No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother's womb. If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man." 18 When Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, "Come up once more, for he has told me all his heart." So the lords of the Philistines came up to her and brought the money in their hand. 19 Then she lulled him to sleep on her knees, and called for a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and his strength left him. 20 And she said, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" So he awoke from his sleep, and said, "I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!" But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him. 21 Then the Philistines took him and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza. They bound him with bronze fetters, and he became a grinder in the prison. |
